The Town of Addison is beginning the review and update of the Town’s “development regulations,” that will include ordinances for zoning, subdivision of land, signs, and related issues, most of which were originally adopted 30 or more years ago. The goal of the review is to consolidate and update the regulations into a Unified Development Code (UDC) that is clear, enforceable, and that helps implement the Addison Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

On behalf of the Town, the project team is being led by Clarion Associates, a Denver-based consulting firm that specializes in ordinance and plan implementation, with support from Texas land-use law attorney James Dougherty.
